Rehabilitation.



Rehabilitation is a process to assist people to achieve and maintain a substance free life following detoxification. It is usually undertaken in the community with support from specialist agencies.

Residential rehabilitation is a service for those not able to rehabilitate in the community. If needs assessments shows residential rehabilitation as the preferred option, community care assessments by local Community Drug & Alcohol Teams is provided to inform decisions about places in residential settings.

Local residential rehabilitation is provided at Nascent House or Vale House, with other options available to meet individual needs.
