Discarded Injecting Equipment
Needle stick injuries may lead to blood born viruses such as Hepatitis B and C.
If you find works (injecting equipment) in an appropriate sharps bin the contact numbers are on them. Hertsreach Needle Exchange will be happy to collect them - Tel: 01442 390550 or 01442 240579
If works are found loose under no circumstances must they be touched. You should ring your local council who work closely with the environmental services. You must ask for the Manager of the Street Wardens who will require the exact location of the injecting equipment.
